Dad was born in South Boston, Virginia. While living in South Boston their house caught on fire at lunch time one day and burned to the ground. Dad grew up in Roxboro, North Carolina. He lived there until 1949, when we move to Swepsonville, North Carolina. We moved to Graham in 1952 where he lived until his death. Dad had many friends. His sister, Magnolia tells about Chrismtas when his many friends came to visit and filled their yard. When he died the yard was filled with his friends.
